Michelle Malkin has a poignant piece about the 66th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor. I have been blessed to visit there twice and each time was overcome by the magnitude of the Japanese attack on that naval base and of the tremendous loss of life that took place there. The memory of that day still lives on in the lives of those who were present as well as those of us who have heard their stories. A solemn memorial rests in the waters of Pearl Harbor and it reminds us all of how great a sacrifice our men and women in uniform have made…not just then but still to this day. They deserve our thanks and our gratitude.
